  • BDA is growing and as a result are looking for a number of Senior Systems Engineers – Hardware to be based in Brisbane.
  • As a Boeing Mission Systems Engineer you will apply your extensive experience to a broad range of systems, avionics, electrical and electronic engineering activities, across projects, from planning, architecture, estimation, design, production, procurement, qualification, and test.
  • This role is part of a globally distributed team that is performing AEW&C Mission Computing, Sensor (Radar, ESM, EWSP), and Communications Systems upgrades.

Responsibilities will include :

  • Systems engineering activities related to the Wedgetail Mission Systems. This includes systems engineering planning, requirements analysis, functional analysis, design, integration, verification and systems analysis
  • Supporting LRU integration and test activities in lab environments
  • Supporting integration of Hardware systems into the Wedgetail platform
  • Development of data to show design compliance with airworthiness regulations and customer requirements.

To be successful you will have :

  • Tertiary degree with a minimum of 7 – 10 years’ experience in relevant technical discipline
  • Experience in delivering/integrating systems within Aerospace, Defence or complex engineering project environments will be highly regarded.
  • Ability to analyses, design and integrate modern systems composed of hardware and software components
  • Understanding of, and ability to apply, relevant systems engineering practices, standards and regulations.
