The field services technician is expected to perform the following duties as per the procedures set by the company:
Onsite Installation, configuration and verification of POS terminals at various areas/ locations within UAE.
Troubleshooting / Replacement / Removals as per defined protocols at various areas/location within UAE country.
Onsite Training for POS terminal users and address their inquiries as per standards set by the company.
POS Paper Roll delivery to STS PayOne customers.
Ready to execute and implement the Daily system updates and POS Terminals preparation and configurations.
Coordinate with superiors and liaison officers at designated locations to ensure readiness of locations for POS deployment, and readiness/ availability of user s for training.
Maintain complete control aspects (i.e. documentation, periodical client visits / Daily Activity reports to manage the customers effectively and efficiency.
Work proactively with technology Team and Customers to meet their needs and requirements.
Configuration and preparations of POS terminals in the backend systems.
Quality and timely service to all customers to position the company as one of the best service oriented company in UAE.
Apply, develop and promote standard operation procedures and ensure that all the services and business requirements are running smoothly.
Provide timely status and updates to supervisors and project Operations managers.
Facilitate and Implement STS PayOne documentation standards to have a centralized knowledge base.
Ensures that POS applications security procedures are implemented executed and followed.
Perform problem resolution and provide 24 x 7 on-call support (including after working hours, during weekends and holidays).
Utilize strong problem solving and analytical skills in order to meet STS PayOne SLS (Service Level Specifications) commitments with customers towards their business continuity and smooth operation.
The Field Service Technician will be accountable for all end to end requirements arising from customers to Terminal asset and accessories.
Hands on customer service skill and personnel management is required to ensure effective and timely delivery of services to clients through proactive interaction across the team, to attain the desired levels of customer s satisfaction.
Selected Candidate/s will be given the necessary training/ orientation at the beginning of the engagement. Upon engagement; the Field Services technician will be assessed/ monitored on Quality &
Timely Service to Customers, and compliance with STS PayOne service standards.
Requirements and Skills
Basic computer/ IT literacy.
Excellent interpersonal and coordination skills.
Ability to work in the field, and commute extensively with assigned geographical zones/ areas across the UAE.
Very good command of Arabic and English languages (Speaking, listening and writing).
Holding UAE driving license and own a car for traveling aboard.
