Designation AVP/VP and above Business Head
Location:Guwahati
Grade:SM1
Desired candidate profile: Qualifications MBA (Marketing/ Finance)
AgeAround 45 -50 years
Experience : 20 Yrs approx

Theme of the Role
The business head will be responsible for the overall monitoring of the brand sales, brand image, maximizing profitability and ensuring good culture in the company. The BH will be key in establishing process and standards in developing good work ethics and culture in the organization.

Key Deliverables :

Overall Supervision and Direction
Develop and review goals based on objectives set by the management and communicate it to the team. Act as a middle point for management and employees
Review progress as compared to goals, budgets and targets
Create and maintain an atmosphere in which employees willingly produce at maximum capacity

Envisage and design different sales channels for maximizing market penetration.
Supervise all the channel managers, communicate goals and targets and help them devise strategies to achieve the goals
Ensure that employees have the knowledge and information needed along with the appropriate sales tools to get desired sales results
General supervision of all sales staff and sales efforts
Identifying Gaps in the market and resolving through constructive solutions
Expanding sales in a stable manner to be future ready
Reduce dealer attrition and create long-term stability.
Reduce discounts and increase MRP/BP of product
Create ways and methods for price increase of product and to enter category A of the Cement Market.
Tour and travel for market visit and supervision
Guide and Train the team in Sales and Marketing to make Company a Premium Brand

To ensure all finance functions of ledgers, confirmations etc are closed on time
Work with the finance team to reduce discounts and increase profitability in a stable manner
Work with finance and sales team to increase the price of the product.
To work on collections, daily and monthly.
To ensure zero gaps in the finance process and also control all fraud or swindling or anything thats against company policy.
Create data in terms of how to work strategically in geographies, people, processed to increase sustainability and profits.

Suggest improvement and redesigning of organization structure based on business requirement.
Supervise maintenance of preferred staffing level
Assign employee responsibilities and maintain job descriptions
Develop performance standards and communicate the Key Performance/Result Areas (KPA/ KRA) & Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Ensure and Supervise ongoing Training
Manage performance by periodic reviews, appraisals and motivating people by rewards, incentives and recognition policies
Take measures to retain the best talents in the company.

Prepare and present annual, quarterly and monthly marketing plans with strategies, promotion mix and negotiate with management the budget forthe same.
Implement the marketing plan selecting best possible media vehicle while optimizing the cost and benefits within the approved budget
Review and analyze the marketing efforts and make necessary changes in the future plans.
To build the brand and make it a premium product through branding communications
To develop unconventional and niche methods to impact the market

To ensure smooth and profitable transportation for the product
To ensure the cycle of movement in the market is not disturbed.
To work effectively at reducing transport cost
To make the logistics department efficient and organized to achieve best results
To maintain On time in terms of delivery and customer satisfaction.
Use IT systems to manage stock levels, delivery times and transport costs;
Use associated information systems to coordinate and control the order cycle;
Use data from IT systems to evaluate performance and quality and to plan improvements;

Develop working relationships with other organizations within the business community
Personally and officially represent the company to the business community during meetings or events
Build a positive image of the company
