My client is urgently seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant for their Redditch office.

Role responsibilities:

  • To be responsible for the daily checking of incoming post & take outgoing post to the post office
  • Keeping a log of purchase invoices received and processed
  • Processing Purchase invoices.
  • Purchase Ledger
  • Credit Control
  • Ensuring details of job files are correct prior to invoicing
  • Raising Sales Invoices
  • Emailing Invoices to clients
  • Agreement of balances for the current month with customers by telephone or email
  • Daily allocation of all payments and exporting to Head Office
  • Daily banking
  • Doing a daily bank receipts list for Head Office
  • Updating and circulating reporting after each weekly credit control meeting
  • Filing job files when complete
  • Daily Post

Skills and Experience:

  • Confident communication skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Good IT Skills, including Excel Knowledge
  • Numerate and Literate
  • Can work to deadlines and handle pressure
  • Quick thinker / problem solving
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic character
  • Able to work on their own as well as part of a team
  • Minimum of two years’ experience within an accounts role
